Chapter 2 - Tell me what to do...

The early morning breeze flows into the room, swaying the curtains as it wheezed by, birds are singing in their beautiful voice. It was a very good morning for Mel, the relaxation of the breeze, the comfort of his bed, and a girl on his side....What!?...

"Mira! What the hell are you doing on my bed!!"

Mira gently rised from her slumber, fondling her messy dark purple hair, and adjusting her clothes.

"Sorry Mel...it was sort of a habit...hehe" and she left the room for breakfast Mrs Gust prepared for them.

Breakfast was more stumptious then usual, because Mrs Gust did not know Mira's food preference and cooked more just in case.

"Morning Heather! Wow..how nice of you to prepare such good food!" Said Mira in a cute polite voice. Mrs Gust smiled at her and signaled her to tuck in before proceeding back to her household chores.

A few minutes later, Mel also came down for breakfast, in his high school uniform, he has school today.

"Ara! Mel you have school today? I wanted you to take me around town...guess I have to wait till your school is over eh?"

"Why do I have to bring you around? Oh, about what you said yester..."

"That would have to wait till you bring me around Mel...hehe" Interupted Mira, who is already at her third slice of bread.

Ding Dong! The doorbell which rang the previous day after a long time miraculously rang for the second day in a row....who is it!

Mel ran to the door and fling it open. Outside stood a girl with long dark purple waved hair. Mel immediately blushed....

"Hi...Hira..."

Hira appears for the first time at Mel's house! What will follow this unexpected visit?

The main male character of Bittersweet Romance. He has a crush on fellow high school classmate Hira. One day a woman named Mira appear at his house and offered to assist him in the pursuit of Hira. How will the story unfold?

The other main female character. Mira appeared in Mel's house one day and offered to help him in his pursuit of Hira. Much about Mira is unknown, age and whatever. Her motive for helping Mel is not yet known. But she is heard muttering to herself that she will watch Mel grow up.

Height: 154 cm
Hair color: Black (Mel got his hair color from his father)
Hair style: shoulder length but she bun it up.
Figure: Heard her figure went out of way after giving birth.
Likes: Household chores, gossiping, cute girls
Dislikes: Mel sleeping late til afternoon, messiness (note Mel's hair), dirtiness.

Mel's Mother who lives with Mel in the house. Mel's father is working overseas thus Mel and his mother are the only ones in the house, before Mira arrived. She was the one who allowed Mira to stay after being pursuaded in just 2 minutes.

Somehow, I have a strong feeling of completing this story. I do not know why, just hope I bring Mel and Hira to life....

Well the last post is just a little iceing on the cake, I bring you the official 1st Chapter of Bittersweet Romance

Bittersweet Romance

The woman stepped out of the capsule pod, which caused quite a ruckus for passerbys. True enough, this phenomenon may be very common maybe 10 years later, but now...

"Did I come to the right place?? Mel...I have come."

She abandoned the pod and headed for her target. She knows Mel, but who is she?

This Sunday morning did not go too well for Mel. He was looking so forward to the date with Hira (apparently she did not agree yet...). Looks like the day had to be spent quite lonely and dry at home. Mel tried getting back to sleep but it was a failure, there was too much on his mind, or rather Hira had taken most of his thoughts.

"Ding Dong~...Ding Dong~". The doorbell which had not rung since Mel's father was not around miraculously rang, breaking the dead silence in the house. It seems that Mel's mother had gone out and Mel sluggishly answered the door.

"Mel!" The woman at the door answered. "Mel its really you I miss you alot!!" this was followed by a hug and a deep kiss on the Mel's lips. Mel was bewildered. Not only a stranger who knew him appeared at his door, his first kiss was stolen too.

Bang! Mel shut the door right at the woman's face. "Hira! You know Hira?" The words 'Hira' worked like 'Open sesame!" and the door was once again opened.

"Who are you, do you know Hira?" Mel asked the woman. The woman walked in and made herself comfortable as if she was in her own home. She knew exactly where to get the chips, and even the way to function the spoilt television. It was as if she lived in Mel's house before.

A dream, certainly a dream. First a stranger appeared and kissed him, then that stranger seemed to know his house like the back of her hand. Mel pinched himself and certified himself in reality. Yes, he has to face the 'reality'.

Mel went to the woman and snatched the remote away from her. The woman sat up and crossed her legs, gesturing for Mel to listen to what she has to say.

"Hira, the name you responded to...you will recieve my assistence in the pursuit of her. My only condition is for me to lodge at your home." The woman said calmly.

Hira...Mel was certainly tempted at the offer but he still did not trust her. There is no way she could be trusted, a stranger that came to his house so abruptly.

"My, my. I guess you still don't trust me eh? All in all I am just a stranger appearing at your house giving a heaven's offer. Hmm...About he SMS you recieved just an hour ago, you did not need to feel disappointed."

Mel wanted to know more, but could she be trusted? She can just cook up a story and stay in his house. But how did she know about the SMS?

"You can stay if you can persuade my mum, Ah! She is back." Mel pointed to the walkpath outside his house, his mother had come back with the groceries.

The woman grinned and went out to greet Mel's mother, and it seemed like they got along perfectly and she got the green light to stay. What spell did she cast on Mel's mother, Mel was shocked at the fact she was able to stay only by talking to his mother for about 2 minutes.

"Mel, I am Hi....Ah....Mira yes Mira. About that 'thing' I will tell you tommorow I want to rest now." Mira said as she brought her luggage up to the guest room.

In the guest room, Mira looked at the mirror on the dressing table. She said to herself, "My, my. Mel, now I can watch you grow from another person's view. Do not disappoint me....hehe"

"Commencing transfer, 10%...35%...99%...100%!!!!...Bye Hira...sob...sob"

The chirping of birds in the morning dawn broke Mel's sleep. He had been tired for most of the week and even on a Sunday, his heavy slumber was easily broken by the birds. He shoke his head as he arise, and went to wash up. Looks like another tiring day for him.

"Morning Mum.." Mel muttered to his surprised mother, who had not seen him this early for years. Grinning sneakily, she went on making breakfast.

Mel is an ordinary 17 year old high school student. At around 170 centimetres tall he was not considered one of the good looking students in his school. But like any other boys of his age, he had a crush on a classmate, the school beauty...Hira.

Vrrrrr Vrrrr....Mel's mobile vibrated. 'Mel, about you asking me out for lunch today. Sorry I already have an appointment...Maybe next time?. Hira'. Disappointed, Mel throw his mobile aside and lay on his bed. He thought "There is no ghost of a chance Hira would go on a date with me..."

Meanwhile, miles away....

'Kaboom!' A capsule pod lay in the middle of the field. A woman step out of the pod...Hira?

"Eh!? Tampines Interchange Macdonalds explode ah!??"...

I heard this statement while on the bus on the way to interchange...and truely I saw loads of smoke emerging from the Macdonalds...it was around 630am....

Ok but I was really in a rush to school so did not go check it out...however after school I went to 'Kaypo'...guess what? I saw the shop beside Macdonalds was burnt so much worst than Macdonalds...

Conclusion : I feel Macdonalds is suay because it probably caught the fire from next door....

The Void Deck Swindler

She may look like any ordinary old woman, only shaggier. She may dress like her age, only dirtier. But she definitely is no ordinary old woman...just hell lot smarter....

Her territory is in a void deck at a HDB block, where she lingers around looking for her 'preys'. Young boys were always missing but no one ever suspected this old woman. Smirking at her wonderful attempts at 'boynapping', she set her sight on her new target...

Wark is an ordinary ordinary ordinary very ordinary 14 years old boy and everyday he would smile at anyone he met because his mother taught him so. Also, his mother taught him to show respect to the elderly, thus he was always full of smiles and helping hands for the old lady.

This particular day, Wark walked pass the void deck routinely on his way home. He scanned the area for the old lady, but to his bewilderment, she was not around. This is very rare as the old lady was always there waiting for his smiles, which she said are 'as sweet as candies'. Well, those words are as 'evil as people putting dusters or buckets on the ceiling of a door for you to open...'.

"boooooiiii~~", the words which instantly cheered Wark up. She was there, the old lady was there!! Wark was so happy, he did not realise he was laterally being lured into a trap. Wark scanned the area again, where did the voice come from? Wark just followed his senses and arrives at the doorstep of the old lady's house.

"I needsh some help boooiiiii~, come into my housh...".....

This old lady uses the kindness of humans to lead them to her jaws of terror. She must be stopped!! Kindness is a precious thing we must keep in humanity!! Please... (Boooiiii~)...Help humanit....y..........................................................ARGH!!!

1st day of school

Finally the stressful, tedious, troublesome, tiring, heartbreaking, hasty, exciting new semester begins! Yes, the first day of school ends at a freaking 7 pm....Well for those who don't know, my timetable starts on tuesday, with monday considered "weekend" muahahahahas!

I reached school early at around 9.25am which is damn early because my lecture starts proper at 10.10am. I was expecting a super long queue at the printing shop thus I came early...yes it is long....but the printing computers are empty....Liyan was in the queue for the notes hahas...

Our lecturer for Principles Of Management is Ms Winnie Lie, she is interesting...for now at least...not like my previous Management lecturer AND tutor in TP...who is damn hell dry...and I really mean DAMN HELL DRY....

The 3 hours break really buay tahan...after lunch still got 2 more hours....go library slack til 2 then finally Accounting tutorial....

Our tutor for Accounting for Assets is Ms XXXX Neo....she introduced herself before I reached class....her name was on the board....but I couldn't remember hahas....too bad.....She had alot of stories....first my name Jen led her to Monalisa...well I will die rather than having Monalisa as a name...nowadays parents give the wierdest of names...then she went on with stories of students she had taught before.....her lesson ended...again 1 hour earlier and we have another break...

Internet and Web Technologies was next...and this teacher I think did not even introduce herself at all....and ah she kinda lecture in a very very very boring tone...it was not slow or what...just boring....and then she let us group to do crossword puzzle challenge...my group got the highest....hope a good prize she will give....best if just give us 10 CP marks straight...

At 7pm...lesson over...thank OBUA! Thus Jie, Huili and I went to have dinner at a nearby hawker store....then its bus sweet bus...ah I meant home sweet home....at 930...T.T....

WTF!!! For the fifth time!!! My desktop broke down again...or rather...it cannot be fixed...again!
I have no idea what happened...probably virus...my com just hanged....then when I restarted it just kept on hanging....Reformat lah....but I just found out my com cannot be reformatted....because the USB ports do not work before the windows part....and my round port is spoilt...so there is no way that I knew to reformat...

Well...what to do....hahas....today went to Jiale house eat pizza again...I don't know why but I guess he loves pizzas....then I accompany Mark to St 81...where the frantic search for XinMin newspaper commence...we were told that XinMin have not arrived so we went to look for our nowadays most liked cat...Meow A.K.A Aripun!

She is so likable...I tried feeding her shark fin soup...she don't want...thats kind of a pity...shark fin lei!!....then suddenly she climbed onto my lap....fell asleep....zzz

Yes...I know...the camera sux...its not mine...yes it sux...

And i got the leg cramp because she slept on my lap while I was crossing it...i mean crossing legs...not crossing my leg as in crossing the road...its crossing my leg like crossing a leg!...

Ok so we went off after she finally was forced to wake up...er...we finally forced her to wake up...and still no XinMin....hahas....and then we walk back slowly....

The second last sunday of this holiday period and four lamers went to Sentosa hahas....lets see...I have never seen the true sentosa in my entire 18 years 3 months and 1 day of my life. Why is this so...actually I have been to Sentosa twice...First time was when I was primary 1 where we went straight to the underwater world and back....then the second time was my cousin's wedding dinner where we went straight in the hotel...and back.....

Yes...today I did see the beaches, resorts, buses, taxis, volleyballs, faceless dudes, water bottle, schools of fishes, some wierd insects, a spider kena shot at, ships, cars, bicycles, peacocks, peahens, bikini babes, muscular tanned guys, little noisy childeren..........stop!...

We went to visit the siloso beach and we saw these people...wearing suits...FREAKING wearing suits...then we look closer at them....where are the facial organs....

Here is one of them...in the suit...very out hor?...

From the nearest...Me, Teh teh, Mark, and Le...on a bus in sentosa....

Urgent

Once upon a time...there is a...Poser! His name is Markoser

One day, Markoser got bored and decided to drink detergent.....halfway through he felt a tinge of sharpness in his XXXXX and realised...he needs to pee.....and so without further ado...he went to the nearest place he thinks is a toilet!

Here....

But wierdly, no matter how hard he tries...the pee just wont come out from his....

Thus he tries harder and harder and finally.....

Its out.....

The end.............not!.....Then after his marvellous attempt at peeing....he caught sight of something in the sky....

He tries to grab it....

And pull it....and susceed in taking the thing!

But the wind was too strong and the balloon flew...with Markoser with it....and they landed at....

And Markoser and the Balloon lived happily ever after....THE END!!

Ok...back to reality....we then went back to the resort for them to ask about some job....since some of them are finishing major exams and finding a vacation job to pass time...and earn money...

On the way to the restaurant...we saw some pea...Cocks and Hens.....they looked nice...

So after confirming the doubts on the jobs...we were off and back in vivo....Le got tired and wanted to take cab....so we went around taking money then buy some food then its time to leave...hahas...very fun today...Im crazy ya know....in AMERICA!!!

So just one more week of holidays left...and 3 more days to the release of my new timetable...hehe...hope its good....I rather some 11+ lessons so I no need to get up so early hahas....

Holiday for me is coming to an end in 1 week or so, thus this boring period is coming to an end too...a relief for me...and for fellow boringmen....

Today is an outing day, and I am meeting Huili for a movie date...at Vivo...but I reached so early, like half an hour early because I forgot how long it takes to Vivo...well...with my lousy gauge of direction and time....

Slacked awhile inside...alone...due to my stupid mistake and finally she came...met her at Breadtalk...

Had lunch at the super special busy Long John Silvers as it took quite awhile to queue...then have to wait for the main course to come....seriously shorthanded...maybe due to the exam and O levels period....

We bought tickets for the 2.20 show but it was still early so we walked around Vivo visiting the Daiso and the Pet Safari...all dogs in it...but (because of the glass blocking them) they were cute....

The show was House Bunny...and it was hilarious...people go watch it...seriously nice in my opinion...it is a story of a 27 years old girl getting kicked out of Playboy Mansion then entering another similar bunny house as a house mother....well...she revived the CMI girls into popular girls and bleh...i should stop spoiling now....

After the movie....took the bus 65...which took 1 hour 40 mins to reach Tampines...and normally I could sleep...if not for some thai people sitting right behind me...close to each other...yet speaking at the top of their voices.....well....I was pissed...duh...

Rescue Continued...

Operation terminated...all units retreat...I repeat....all units retreat!!
